Project Managers assume the role of the primary customer contact. The general responsibilities are to coordinate and manage internal and external resources as needed in order to deliver flawless execution of projects. The ultimate goal of a project manager is to satisfy the customer while delivering projects on-time, within scope and within budget.

  • Review plans, specifications and contract documents to define the work scope
  • Review structural requirements for the project
  • Manage project budget and allowances
  • Review contract for “value engineering” opportunities
  • Coordinate and develop internal schedules to meet project requirements
  • Provide initial project data for entry into CBS (CENTRIA Business System) then manage, monitor and control the project in CBS
  • Determine the monthly schedule of values for invoicing customer
  • Investigate job problems and assist in claims management to determine a course of action
  • Negotiate change orders and attend job site meetings
  • Coordinate the final close of the project
  • Develop and maintain good working relationship with CENTRIA customers and manufacturing facilities


  • Civil, Mechanical or Structural Engineering Degree preferred (years of work experience or other relevant degrees are to be considered)
  • Commercial construction experience required
  • Able to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings required
  • Travel to jobsites to review and resolve project issues, requiring some overnight stays required
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle and prioritize urgent requests and multiple projects required
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required
  • Must be self-disciplined and have a strong attention to detail required
  • Must be able to exercise good judgment in decision-making process required
  • Self-starter who can work independently required
