An ABC Inside Sales Coordinator is to work in partnership with a Regional Manager, to maintain relationships with customers who may be existing, new or no longer buy from ABC. The candidate should be able and willing to prospect new business through phone calls, courtesy calls for maintaining sales, provide quotes and quote follow up to close the sale. The Coordinator is also responsible to have the ability to provide a customer with technical product knowledge and assist customers with material lists/ordering information. This position will also work very close with manufacturing regarding stock, shipping & routes, purchasing department as well as the credit department when issuing credits and receiving credit applications. A Coordinator is the first contact for most problems from a customer and will have the ability to be compassionate to their needs.


  • Taking action on customer concerns, investigating situations and creating solutions
  • Writing credits in a timely manner
  • Working with peers in a way that leads to a culture of best outcome for ABC (NCI) rather than a specific department


  • A combination of technical and interpersonal skill sets are necessary to be successful.
  • 2+ years inside sales or account management experience
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint
  • Project/Negotiation management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required
