NCI Building Systems, Inc. is one of North America's largest integrated manufacturers of metal products for the nonresidential building industry. NCI is comprised of a family of companies operating manufacturing facilities across the United States and Mexico, with additional sales and distribution offices throughout the United States and Canada. 


The Talent Acquisition Manager / Director will be responsible for designing,  leading, and  implementing the talent acquisition strategy,  programs and processes for NCI.  They will ensure alignment of NCl's values and culture with our talent acquisition strategy,  programs and  partnerships, and develop employment brand messaging supporting the overall  business model and talent attraction and  retention goals.

The position will report to the Vice President,  Human Resources.

  • Develops an enterprise talent acquisition strategy with solutions and processes that support ongoing excellence in all areas of the talent acquisitions cycle (planning/ forecasting, recruitment, metrics).
  • Leads the strategic and day to day operations of current RPO solution partnership.
  • Ensures consistent talent acquisition processes are defined and deployed.
  • Leads and manages the design and application of all internal HR talent programs and processes
  • (internal job posting process, employee referral program, candidate assessment tools).
  • Ensures alignment of NCl's values and culture with our talent acquisition strategy and programs and partnerships.
  • Responsible for managing all executive recruiting activities, and executive recruiting firm partnerships.
  • Develops and delivers effective recruiting channels in conjunction with and outside of the RPO partnership; including partnerships with top universities, community outreach and engagement programs.
  • Provides leadership and oversees the design and maintenance of the NCI Employment Brand identity and the organizations' Employer Value Proposition.  Leads the development and communication of the messaging and direction, ensuring awareness both  internally and externally. Partners with  Marketing in the development of collateral materials based on branding strategy.
  • Collaborates, coordinates and manages vendor partners to maximize relationship with search firms, recruiting firms, job boards, and outside staffing agencies.
  • Develops and delivers talent acquisition metrics and reporting, and actionable data to ensure impact and  identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Utilizes standardized tools and methodologies to analyze, audit effectiveness, and  measure return on investment.
  • Ensures talent programs are compliant with all applicable employment laws and best practices.


  • 10(+) years of demonstrated progressive leadership experience in an enterprise Talent Acquisition/Recruiting function, in both corporate and manufacturing environments, required
  • Experience leading and implementing a partial or full RPO engagement required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in Human Resources or related field
  • Strategic thinker; ability to develop, evaluate and implement HR strategies that address business and operational
  • A proven change leader with experience successfully leading significant change initiatives in a high growth, fast moving organization
  • Exceptional hands-on project management skills; comfortable moving from design through implementation
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and build commitment in a matrix environment
  • Ability to effectively interact, influence and communicate with senior leaders and associates at all levels
  • Process oriented leader with solid quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong, recent knowledge and experience with iCIMS and Dayforce HCM, desired



This position will require up to 20% travel



This position will be based in  Houston, TX


This position could be hired at the Manager or Director level based on education and experience of the successful candidate.
