Scheduling/Inventory  Planner  must  possess the ability  to analyze and  interpret  data  through an  ERP system  in  a manufacturing,  purchasing  and/or  planning  environment  and  make valuable decisions  to satisfy the demands in  the  plants for our customers.  Will be expected

to consistently operate  in  a high-pressure  environment with  tight deadlines.

  • Coordinating a Managed  Inventory  Program  in  order to replenish Hot  Roll  Painted and Galvanized  Coils  at our  Manufacturing  Plants
  • Create  weekly slitting  requests  for our Prep  Facilities
  • Create purchase  orders  in  order to purchase  the necessary  coil  to paint,  process,  or distribute to all  NCI  divisions to fulfill  the  company's  demand
  • Create  weekly inventory  reports  through  Oracle  Systems  (10.7  & lli)  as well as
  • interpret and create  inventory  reports  from outside  vendor  locations.
  • Responsible  for special  price  quoting
  • Initialize the movement of loads  with  the Transportation  Group  in  order to arrive  in  a timely manner to fulfill  the Plants'  requirements
  • Purchase  material  in  order to fulfil  requirements  of the Customers
  • Act as a liaison  between  Plants  and Corporate  Inventory  Group  to correct  receiving problems
  • General  familiarity  of ASTM and ISO Standards  and  how they relate  to purchasing


  • Bachelor's  Degree  in  Supply  Chain,  Procurement or  Inventory  OR Education  in
  • ISM/CSCMP  Desired
  • Five  (5)  years' experience  working  in  Supply  Chain,  Procurement or Inventory
  • Desired
  • Extensive  knowledge of Oracle  Systems  (10.7  & lli)
  • Advanced experience  in  the use  of Microsoft  Excel
  • Strong  oral  and written  communication  skills  are  required
  • Project/Negotiation  management  skills,  preferred
