Centria cleans, pre-treats and roll applies organic coatings in a continuous process on hot-dipped galvanized, Galvalume®, cold-rolled, electro-galvanized and aluminum coil. Pre-painted steel and aluminum coil is used in a wide variety of construction applications such as pre-engineered wall and roof panels, architectural building panels, agricultural wall and roof panels, garage and entry doors, door frames and commercial or manufactured goods such as acoustical ceiling grid, light fixtures, closet hardware, consumer electronics, office furniture and appliances.

The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the Centria facility in Cambridge, OH. This individual will provide oversight to all Manufacturing, Purchasing, Technical, Personnel and Accounting activities occurring within the local coil coating facility.

  • Management oversight of manufacturing maintenance, technical, and personnel activities of the regional facility
  • Responsible for leading the facility manufacturing workforce and establishing a productive work team environment
  • Aluminum coil is the main material run in the plant
  • Foster employee relations through clear communication and goal-setting expectations of delivery and performance
  • Ability to manage and interpret manufacturing data for the success of facility operations in the areas of safety, quality, yield, productivity, and cost-containment
  • Interface between plant operations and commercial team to translate customer needs to realistic goals and delivery
  • Responsible for annual facility budgetary planning and capital planning processes.
  • Monitor/control budgetary and capital expenditures to ensure the facilities’ financial performance is consistent with the corporate targets and objectives of The Company
  • Ensure compliance to both facility-based certification programs (i.e. ISO 9000, ISO 14000) and to regulatory-based initiatives (i.e. Title V, etc.)
  • Communicates daily with internal personnel from Operations, Sales and NCI Corporate, to assist with problem resolution and to contribute to the overall performance of The Company
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Minimum 10 years in plant management function in a related industry (manufacturing, steel, coil coating or equivalent years’ experience in a mixture of these industries)
  • Must have previous management experience of plant employees and process
  • Oracle and MS Office (specifically Excel) experience/skills
  • Basic understanding of metal and paint characteristics, coil coating process, coil coated products, and end uses/markets of these products
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related Business or Technical field is a plus
  • Background implementing Process Improvements in a plant environment
