The Coil Receiver/Warehouse Helper  is responsible for receiving  and shipping  coils into, and out of the facility, and organizing  the coil inventory.  They are also responsible for helping  any and all department lines as a full cross trained employee.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Unload  and load coils using cranes and forklifts.
  • Assist  coil operators in maintaining inventory  stock organization for production flow.
  • Assist  the department lines when needed.
  • Receive  coils into the computer  database,  and tag all received  coils.
  • Prepare  and participate in quarterly  physical  inventory.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Fully cross-trained on overhead  cranes, industrial  trucks  (including  forklifts and yard dog), and industrial  power  tools.
  • Training in general  safety,  supervisory sexual harassment prevention, electrostatic discharge awareness, foreign object damage  awareness, quality  system awareness.
  • Able to perform complex  tasks, maintain  organization, and communicate efficiently.
  • Minimum of one year of working  in an industrial manufacturing environment.

 

EDUCATION/ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • High school diploma.
