Responsibilities

Responsible for receiving/verifying all incoming material and parts for the manufacturing floor with the exception of colis.  Specific duties will include: 

  • unpack, examine, count, and verify product on receiver
  • perform checks againist purchase orders
  • notify and/or deliver incoming product to end user
  • report defective materials or questionable conditions to department team leader
  • complete daily receiving entries in computer system
  • manage material and supply inventories, including maintenance and cleaning of inventory area, inventory organization and racking inventory cycle counting and reporting, and quarterly inventory accounting
  • assit with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
  • troubleshoot quanity discrepancies with manufacturing personnel
  • Perform other duties in department as needed
  • Will be lifting 50-90 pounds throughout the workday.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two to five years of experience in a manufacturing / clerical environment is required
  • Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office;  experieince with AS400 is a plus
  • Must be able to operate a forklift, crance, bander and other equipment as needed
  • Must be willing/able to work overtime and available to work all shifts
  • Must be safety-conscious
  • Must posses good organizational skills with the ability to handle a multiple project workload
  • Must be a quick learner and posses a strong commitment to quality
