Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this position is:

  • Ownership and management of projects through a full life cycle. This will entail some estimating and bidding of jobs, working with internal drafting and engineering departments, and overseeing production schedules plus delivery of product on all managed jobs

Responsibilities:

  • Learning and maintaining a working knowledge of MBCI’s product line and associated applications
  • Understanding of the Project Service Department’s policies, procedures, and process flow
  • Lead cultivation within Dodge and ISQFT
  • Support outside sales force and conduct regular meetings to review open opportunities
  • Actively manage opportunities and projects within CRM in an ongoing and/or as-needed basis
  • Maintaining of departmental reports
  • Reviewing of plans and specifications
  • Creation and submittal of unit price and lump sum quotes
  • Work in conjunction with internal Engineering, Drafting, and Estimating teams in managing contract jobs
  • Preparation of contracts for sold projects
  • Manage special requirements for open projects. (curving, tapering, jobsite roll forming)
  • Directly interface with customers as needed

Qualifications

  • Ability to read Architectural/Construction Drawings
  • Strong understanding of customer service (experience in managing claims preferred)
  • Prior project management experience (preferred but not required)
  • Strong work ethic
  • Team player
  • Industry knowledge a plus
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • CRM Experience 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and jobs simultaneously
  • 4 year degree required
