Responsibilities

Business Development Manager is responsible for developing opportunities with corporate clients which yield truly incremental revenue increases for NCI Building Systems.  This role will focus on national prototypical opportunities as well as clients with national or regional building programs consisting of non-prototypical scopes in the nonresidential, commercial and industrial industries. Capitalize on relationships with large regional / national Developers. The Business Development Manager will establish tangible interactions with key stakeholders and maintain strong internal and external relationships as required.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and leverage relationships with key influencers through value propositions to ensure NCI Corporate Accounts is the Preferred provider and ultimately the “Sole” Provider.
  • Focus on value proposition rather than simple price driven buying decisions.
  • Execute business development and sales strategies to identify and secure projects in targeted market segments.
  • Meet and exceed company expectations for profitable revenue growth.
  • Minimum of $8M revenue generation in first 12 months.

Qualifications

  • First and foremost, Business Development Manager must be self-motivated and autonomous.
  • Excellent phone and interpersonal skills, comfortable with relentless, targeted recruitment.
  • Ability to challenge and overcome resistance to change. 
  • Proven track record of executing on strategy and delivering superior results 
  • Demonstrated sales ability in closing prospective accounts and developing new business
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Utilization of NCI’s customized version of Microsoft Dynamics, CRM
  • Travel required
