Overview

The HR Director will provide HR leadership to the IMP CENTRIA brand and field HR representatives at CENTRIA locations across the country to deliver on our HR Promise of supporting our high-performing organization in a reliable and collaborative way by providing the tools and services to build our Culture, capabilities and people. Specific areas of focus will be: talent management, performance management, employee relations, leadership coaching and development, and change management.

 

This position will report to the VP, Human Resources for IMP.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the IMP HR team to provide leadership, expertise, and execution on IMP HR activities within CENTRIA including but not limited to talent management, performance management, employee relations, and leadership coaching and development, and change management.
  • Oversee, direct, and organize the work of the CENTRIA HR team. Develop HR functional capabilities.
  • Promote a culture of high performance and accountability which values learning and a commitment to quality.
  • Lead the CENTRIA Talent Review process to build, implement and monitor succession plans for key roles and build development plans for key talent.
  • Support and execute performance management programs and procedures, including but not limited to performance appraisals and performance improvement plans.
  • Drive organizational effectiveness through proactive employee relations. Lead HR team members and business leaders in resolving employee matters including disciplinary action, complaints, and conflict resolution. 
  • Leverage corporate training and programs to ensure development and retention of top talent.
  • Leverage the talent acquisition team to drive new hire quality
  • Contribute to the development of IMP’s HR strategic goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal employment regulations and company policies.
  • Advise, counsel, and update HR team and IMP leadership on company policies, practices, procedures, benefits, and compensation
  • Lead and participate in HR projects as needed which may include cross functional initiatives

Qualifications

Experience and Qualifications

  • This role requires a human resources partner with broad and extensive experience in talent management, performance management, employee relations, leadership coaching and change management
  • Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 10 years’ experience in a high-growth manufacturing organization in a multi-site HR Generalist or Business Partner role. A minimum of 3 years in a people manager role required
  • Prior experience working with sales teams and manufacturing organizations required
  • Experience in organizations moving from private to public a plus.
  • Experience with acquisitions and mergers a plus.
  • International experiences a plus.
  • A proven track record of positively and productively leading strategic and tactical HR initiatives
  • Extensive experience with effectively using change management tools and techniques
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and communication skills including ability to lead successfully in a matrixed environment
  • Extensive operational experience, business acumen and a proven track record of creative problem solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills in a high-growth, fast moving organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare effective written reports and correspondence, and presentations to senior leadership.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to influence leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches
  • Superior people management skills

 

Travel

This position will require up to 30% travel
